This little recipe is one of my new favorite smoothies for when I want some extra glow! With a refreshing berry limeade flavor it will not only leave your taste buds happy but also your skin. Packed with a blend of frozen fruits, collagen powder, and other skin-loving ingredients, this smoothie will for sure help you reach your skin glowing goals.
WHY IT MAKE YOUR SKIN GLOW
- BERRIES: Strawberries and raspberries are loaded with vitamins and antioxidants. For example they are high in vitamin C which is a must for collagen production. Keeping your collagen production high is what keeps our skin plump, soft and glowing!
- BANANA: Not only do bananas contain various vitamins. Bananas are also high in potassium which helps protect your skin and hair from dehydration.
- COCONUT MILK: Coconut milk contains vitamin C, E and various B vitamins which all help to nourish your hair and skin. Vitamin E is important to protect your skin from damage caused by things like sun exposure and pollution.
- CHIA SEEDS: Chia seeds are amazing for your skin. They contain high levels of antioxidant properties that may help with skin issues and enhance your natural glow.
- COLLAGEN POWDER: For this recipe I used marine collagen powder. Marine collagen helps maintain your skin’s elasticity and hydration. I personally feel more comfortable using marine collagen as I don’t really eat beef or other meats a lot.
- ALMOND MILK: Almond milk hydrates skin which is very important for healthy skin. Also high in vitamin E it helps protect the skin from damage caused by the sun or pollution. Even though it helps protect the skin from damage you should always wear a high SPF sunscreen to keep that glow!
BLOSSLY TIP: When choosing a marine collagen look for words like “low molecular” or “hydrolyzed” to make sure it is absorbed well by the body so you don’t waste your money on products that don’t work as optimal!
HOW TO MAKE A BERRY LIMEADE SKIN SMOOTHIE
This smoothie is super easy to make and most of the ingredients are easy to get.

Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
big tbsp coconut milk
1tbsp chia seeds
one scoop collagen powder (or whatever your own collagen recommends)
1/2 lime juice
200ml almond milk
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth!
Notes
Depending on your own preference you can add more or less almond milk to reach your desired consistency. I usually make sure almost all the ingredients are covered in milk and then you will have a creamy thicker consistency.
HOW TO MAKE IT EXTRA NOURISHING
To make your smoothie even more nourishing you can add various ingredients to this smoothie without losing it’s delicious flavor! Here are some ideas:
- PROTEIN POWDER: Protein is essential for generating healthy glowing skin. So adding this ingredient to this smoothie will not only benefit your skin but it will also repair your muscles and help keep you full for longer.
- MORE SEEDS: Seeds like flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds and sunflower seeds are packed with omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and a variety for vitamins and minerals. This contributes to heart health, skin radiance and also a little texture to your smoothie!
- NUT BUTTER: Nut butters can help make your smoothie even creamier. I personally LOVE to add almond butter to my smoothies as it almost make them taste like a cookie. The healthy fats and protein in almond butter will help keep your energy levels steady throughout the day.
Now don’t forget that one smoothie isn’t the magic elixir for glowing healthy skin! It takes healthy habits, a nourishing balanced diet and most of the time a good skin care routine to keep your skin extra glowing.
